Noble young ladies were often said to be either rude and ill-mannered, or hopeless airheads with nothing but flowers in their heads. Even in an age filled with such rumors, there was someone who taught them.

A commoner named Derrick, who awakened to his talent for magic and rose to prominence as a mercenary, is one day invited to serve as a magic tutor for noble young ladies.

As Derrick proves himself a star instructor— turning spoiled aristocrats into proper “people”— prestigious noble families begin lining up with offers of their own.
