Summary
Michaela, once a new bride, was beaten to the brink of death and forced into marriage with a foreign royal by her cruel stepfather. Neither side desired the union, and Michaela’s husband, Leon, never even glanced her way. She was exiled to a remote, dilapidated countryside.
